Free for buyers. Transparent fees for providers.

Buyers never pay a penny. Providers pay a small lead fee when they submit a quote and a success commission when they win a contract.

Common questions

How long does it take to receive quotes?

Providers are given five business days to respond to each RFQ. Most quotes arrive within two to three days. You are notified as each quote is submitted.

Is it really free for buyers?

Yes. There is no charge to create an account, submit an RFQ, receive quotes or compare providers. CompareEngineering.com is funded entirely by provider fees.

How are providers selected for my RFQ?

We match based on the inspection disciplines required, your site location and provider accreditation status. Only providers with relevant coverage and qualifications receive your request.

What if I have hundreds of assets across multiple sites?

The platform supports multi-site submissions and bulk asset uploads. Upload your existing schedule in any CSV or PDF format and our AI will extract and categorise your equipment automatically.

Are all providers UKAS-accredited?

Our panel includes both UKAS-accredited inspection bodies (ISO 17020) and industry-certified providers. Accreditation status is clearly labelled on every quote so you can filter and compare with confidence.
